Ratusz Gubin

Budynek ratusza w Gubinie, wybudowany w drugiej połowie XIV wieku, został powiększony w 1502 roku, a w latach 1671-1672 przeszedł renesansową przebudowę. Zniszczony w 1945 roku, został odbudowany w latach 1976-1986 i obecnie mieści placówki kulturalne.

Pierwsze wzmianki o ratuszu w Gubinie pochodzą z 1276 roku. Obecna konstrukcja powstała w drugiej połowie XIV wieku. W 1502 roku budynek został rozbudowany o wschodnie skrzydło oraz wieżę. Ostatnia duża renesansowa przebudowa miała miejsce w latach 1671-1672. Podczas II wojny światowej ratusz został poważnie zniszczony, a jego odbudowa nastąpiła w latach 1976-1986. Na początku XXI wieku na wieży zainstalowano zegar z kurantem.

Decyzją wojewódzkiego konserwatora zabytków z 12 kwietnia 1961 roku, ratusz został wpisany do rejestru zabytków. Od 1986 roku budynek służy jako siedziba placówek kulturalno-oświatowych miasta, w tym Miejskiej Biblioteki Publicznej, Biblioteki Pedagogicznej oraz Gubińskiego Domu Kultury.
